It is taking a little while to get used to get used to the joy stick. I’m thrilled to be able to go to parks.

This is my first, and hopefully last, electric wheelchair. In May, I had sixteen more bolts put in my spine. A month before that, I had a plate put in my neck. I already had four bolts and a couple long rods. This is just in preparation for a hip replacement. Maybe two. The hip surgeon said I needed to have the spine surgeries first otherwise the change in posture could cause the new hip to dislocate. That sounds bad. So all the spine levels where the discs were gone are now fused. In the meantime, my hip has been degenerating fast. It’s permanently stuck in a sitting position, which makes walking really hard. I do okay inside my house, but it’s difficult to go anywhere, and I felt bad always having to call my husband at work to come home and take me somewhere. Or run errands himself after working all day. With this chair, I can do these things myself again.
The cushioned seat is very comfortable. It’s heavy. I can’t lift it into the back of my van. But the side door is lower! I can tip up the front wheels until they are in, and then lift the back up by the handle and roll it right in. Then just lock the wheels and it stays put.

We have had this chair for more than 3 months and we have had no issues with it at all. It folds like a normal wheelchair or walker so does not take up too much space when not using it. Its a bit heavy for a senior but it can be managed to take apart the various components for storage. It is easy to drive with its rear wheel drive set up. I would and have recommended it to everyone who has asked.

bought this a while back just have not gotten to this review because I have been busy running the heck. out of this chair. this thing works just great. gets me all around the area I live in. I am disabled from a motorcycle crash back in 02 which pretty much took a big portion of my mobility away. before this, I had a 3 wheel scooter from back around 07. and I would recommend this chair to all as it is a well-built and great set of wheels.

Once I had worked out the joystick , it’s very sensitive to touch so it reacts as you need , speedy turns , very smooth ride. It’s a little heavier than I would like to be honest , may invest in ramps to independently navigate into car . But for a healthy man it’s no issue the lifting . Very attractive to look at. I would advise you protect the cushions when not in use they tend to pluck easily especially with the Velcro tape that attaches cushions to chair. For the price you receive a lot for your money.
