    Width between chair legs is short enough to fit in the tub. I bought the chair because the width between the legs were short enough to fit in my tub. The chair is sturdy and adjustable. The maximum height is just the height my wife needs to sit down with needing assistance and yet low enough for her to wash her feet. It seems to be very sturdy and the rubber feet keeps the chair from slipping.
