The Bed Assist Bar fits most beds from twin to queen, as well as most bed heights. It can be placed on either side of the bed, sliding easily between the mattress and box spring. Safety straps are included that wrap around the mattress for extra reinforcement. A simple push-button adjustment lets you slide the legs and soft grip handle up and down to provide a custom fit.

Do you have to use the strap?
No, the strap is not necessary. I’ve used my for nearly a year and it hasn’t been a problem. It would pull the unit a little tighter maybe, but not required.
Is it easy to assemble?
Yes, very.

How far apart are the adjustment holes?
About 2.5 cm.
Can you use 2?
Yes basically. The section that goes parallel with the floor could overlap each other under the mattress if they were exactly opposite each other on a single bed but it would work. You can use 2 on the same side also.

This thing was easy to put on, it is sturdy and adjustable. I like that each leg is adjusted separately, so if you have an adjustable bed as we do .. sometimes the legs are at 2 different settings and it works great. I am very happy thaty husband has a sturdy grab bar to keep him from using the chest of drawers or door knob for balance … he made fun of me for buying it, and now he loves it

Having shoulder replacement surgery made it tough to get in and out of bed. The rail thing is very stable and gave me support for movements in and out of bed. The price was good and shipping was fast.
