The Premium 5 alternating pressure mattress overlay system is an economic option for the effective prevention of pressure wounds when used with a comprehensive prevention strategy. It is appropriated for at risk patients in care facilities and for home use.

The 12 minute 1 in 2 alternation cycle prevents pressure build-up in patients with limited mobility and the digital control unit can be adjusted for eight different pressure settings for maximum patient comfort. The static cells at head level ensure that the patients sleep pattern is not disturbed.

The unit has a timer, and a visible and audible alarm, and in the event of an emergency one pull on the rapid release CPR tab deflates the mattress.

The waterproof top cover has a full length waterfall skirt, antibacterial taping and welded seams to provide maximum control against infection. The multi stretch fabric is vapour permeable and is designed to minimize friction and to reduce shear.

Suitable for patients up to 150kg.
