    I have noisy neighbours and use active noise cancelling earbuds (Bose QuietComfort Ultra). Although these are less obtrusive than larger noise cancelling ear phones I still had some pressure on the ear making it difficult to sleep (I’m a side sleeper). Having searched online for solutions, I came across the this pillow with a hole. Using the pillow for a few weeks, I must say I am very happy. No ear pressure using the earbuds and the pillow itself is very comfortable and keeps cool overnight. It is a high quality product and comes with pillow case and nice packaging.

    I’ve had ear surgery (otoplasty) twice after it failed the first time. It’s very painful and you have to lie on your back to sleep to not put pressure on the ear which I found so uncomfortable. For the second surgery I invested in this pillow and it’s helped so much I can’t tell you. I could sleep on my side using this from day three after surgery which made my recovery much easier. No pain at all from undue pressure on the ears. The hole is in just the right place to support the head and neck and the pillow is padded enough to ensure there is space for the ear whilst your head is on the pillow. It’s incredibly comfortable. Even six months after the first surgery I would wake up with pain and discomfort from lying on my side and putting pressure on the ear but this is now a thing of the past with this pillow. Absolutely worth the investment if you suffer ear pain or have had ear surgery- would 100% recommended. All in all I love it

    This pillow is great for relieving pressure on the ears and especially for preventing or reducing ear pain whilst sleeping. The hole is designed to be spacious and accommodating for different ear sizes and positions and completely removes the pressure a regular pillow would apply to your ears at night; I frequently encounter ear pain and discomfort at night due to my piercings and the pillow completely prevented this from happening when I slept on it. ll in all a great pillow for those suffering ear pain or discomfort.

    Exceeded all my expectations. Such a comfortable well designed and perfectly made pillow.

    In the last 3 years I have seen two Consultant Dermatologists and both diagnosed CNH in my right ear- a very painful pressure induced sore.
    There are no successful treatments.
    Within two weeks of sleeping on the DJMed pillow the problem has gone. It might recur but I now know what will solve the problem. I now keep two.

    I very infrequently write reviews but I thought I would make an exception for this truly amazing ‘invention’ .. I know it seems a strange thing a “pillow with a hole” but honestly, its been a revelation for me. I have had a sore ear for months and because I keep sleeping on it – even though I try not too my body just lies that way when I am asleep, eventually I had to have the sore bit “blasted” (kind of frozen with spray at the Doctors – I forget what they called it). Anyway, the Doctor told me about Pillow with a Hole because now it was essential I didn’t lie on my ear – I was really sceptical but decided to give it a try.

    From the very first night I LOVED it – its amazing – no more ear pain and so comfortable. My ear is healing up really well and I am getting so much more sleep. The pillow is a very clever invention, so well made and it is amazingly helpful. I just wish I had known about it months ago because if I had I don’t think I’d have had such an issue with my ear at all. Highly, highly recommended.
