    My mom is 81 and doesn’t walk. She has had a couple wheel chairs similar that self propel. This one is great!

    First and foremost the maneuverability is excellent. It is responsive and well controlled. That is a relief. She had one that was overly sensitive and not well controlled, but this one is excellent. She really likes the features such as the foot rests. They can be used or folded up.

    The handles on the back are a plus! If somehow the battery runs down, which is unlikely with an 10km capacity, you can easily push it and it is nothing like a clunky hospital wheelchair.

    I appreciate the pouch on the back that was thoughtful. We really were not even interested in it’s ability to fold and and be portable but now see the possibilities because of that. It will be easier for me on some days to transport it rather her scooter and now that she has one she can control well, she is more agreeable to using it in public. Her previous chair made her hesitant to take out in public for fear she would run into someone.

    I’ve been using the MyRide Carbon for three months now and I’m absolutely blown away by how lightweight it is. At only about 12kg, I can actually lift it into my car trunk by myself, which was impossible with my old 30+kg wheelchair. The carbon fiber construction feels incredibly sturdy despite being so light. The battery life easily gets me through a full day for me and i can pup a fresh one in if i needed to.

    I know function matters most, but I also care about style. This chair looks sleek and doesn’t scream “medical equipment.” I’ve taken it to the mall, cafés, even a wedding, and I didn’t feel self-conscious. Easy to clean, and the finish resists scratches better than I expected.

    My dad (age 74) hasn’t been out on his own in years. We got him this chair because of the ultra-lightweight frame, and it’s been a game changer. I can lift the whole thing into the back of my SUV without breaking a sweat. He uses the joystick easily with one hand, and the chair folds down small enough that we can take it with us to his doctor’s appointments or even just to the park. He loves how modern it looks too, says it doesn’t “feel old.”

    I weigh 117kg, and this chair handles me just fine. I was skeptical about how lightweight it was, but the carbon fiber frame is no joke. It’s sturdy and doesn’t wobble. I’ve used it every day for a month with zero issues. The quiet motor is a plus around the house.

    So far I’m pleased with this wheelchair. I bought it because I wanted to be able to lift into my car by myself. This weekend it was a success. I could lift in and out of my car. I rode it around Westfield. It so easy to use and has a great turn radius! I would highly recommend.

    This chair is incredible. I’ve never seen an electric wheelchair this light. I can lift it in and out of the car boot with one hand. The carbon fiber frame feels solid and light, and it handles uneven footpaths and ramps like a dream. Game changer for travel and day trips.

    Mixed feelings Good chair but pricey.

    Yes, it’s light and sleek, but the price is on the high side. You’re definitely paying for that carbon fiber tech. Performance is solid though. Smooth ride, no lag on inclines. Would recommend for frequent travelers or those with limited lifting strength.
