I purchased for after surgery care for my mother in case she needed assistance at night. We ended up not needing it, but it was worth the purchase for the peace of mind alone. It was easy to use and did exactly what it promised. The sound was quite loud. If you think it is too loud, you could put tape over the speaker. There is no volume control.

It’s a good product to have if you worry about something happening when you are asleep. It has two sounds and one is really loud. So if you are a deep sleeper I think it will wake you up! Just remember to turn it on before you go to bed.

I love these, I just bought my third set. They are reliable and batteries last a long time. Put some tape on the slide switch on the receiver if the button gets in the middle position it will not work
